Flight Cancellations

Flight cancellation and refund terms are governed primarily by the individual airline's fare rules. ZoomFly levies an additional service fee for processing cancellations.

Refunds for airline cancellations are processed after ZoomFly receives the refund from the airline, which may take 7–21 business days depending on the airline.

Hotel Cancellations

Hotel cancellation policies depend on the property and room type selected. The following general terms apply to ZoomFly hotel bookings:

⚠️ Non-refundable room rates are clearly labelled during the booking process. These rates are typically 15–30% cheaper and are ideal only if your travel plans are confirmed.

Holiday Package Cancellations

Holiday packages involve multiple bookings (flights, hotels, activities) and are therefore subject to higher cancellation fees as costs are committed to suppliers in advance.

Booking Protection: If you cancel within 24 hours of making your package booking (provided departure is at least 7 days away), you receive a 100% refund — no questions asked.

Custom-built packages may have different cancellation terms. These will be communicated in writing at the time of booking confirmation.

Bus Cancellations

Bus booking cancellations are handled based on time remaining before scheduled departure:

Cab & Transfer Cancellations

Cab and airport transfer bookings can be cancelled with full refund if done sufficiently in advance. Last-minute cancellations incur flat fees to compensate drivers:

How to Cancel a Booking

Cancelling your ZoomFly booking is simple. Follow these steps:

Find your booking reference number in your confirmation email or WhatsApp message.

WhatsApp us at +91 8076136300 or email s.admin@zoomfly.in with your booking reference.

Confirm Cancellation
Our team will confirm the applicable cancellation fee and refund amount within 2 hours.

Receive Refund
Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

⚠️ Cancellation requests must be submitted by the primary booker. Verbal requests are not accepted — all cancellations must be confirmed in writing via WhatsApp or email.

Once a cancellation is confirmed, refunds are processed as follows:

✅ ZoomFly initiates the refund within 24–48 hours of cancellation confirmation. The remaining processing time depends on your bank or payment provider.

Refunds are credited to the original payment source only. We do not process refunds to a different account, card, or UPI ID than the one used for payment.

Booking Modifications

If you need to change your travel dates, passenger details, or other booking specifics — rather than cancelling — the following applies:

  • Date Changes: Subject to availability and fare difference. A modification fee of ₹200–500 per booking may apply in addition to any fare difference.
  • Name Corrections: Minor spelling corrections are free. Full name changes (different passenger) are treated as a cancellation and re-booking.
  • Adding Passengers: Subject to availability. New passengers are priced at current rates, which may differ from original booking price.
  • Upgrading Room/Seat: Subject to availability. Difference in cost is charged at prevailing rates.
  • International Bookings: Modifications may not be possible on certain international fares. Check with ZoomFly support before requesting changes.

Exceptions & Non-Refundable Scenarios

The following scenarios are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Bookings explicitly marked as Non-Refundable at the time of purchase.
  • Cancellations made after the applicable free cancellation window has expired.
  • No-shows — failing to appear for a flight, hotel check-in, bus departure, or cab pickup without prior cancellation.
  • Denied boarding due to invalid or expired travel documents (passport, visa, government ID).
  • Failure to meet health requirements, entry regulations, or immigration rules at the destination.
  • Voluntary no-shows during natural disasters, strikes, or force majeure events (ZoomFly will assist with rebooking where possible).
  • Promotional or discounted bookings marked as non-refundable.
  • Partially utilised packages (e.g., hotel used but flight not taken — no partial refund for unused services).

🚫 ZoomFly is not responsible for losses arising from third-party travel disruptions, government restrictions, or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover such scenarios.

Compassionate Exceptions: In genuine medical emergencies or bereavement situations, ZoomFly may consider waiving cancellation fees at its sole discretion. Supporting documentation (medical certificate, death certificate) must be provided within 72 hours of cancellation request.
